Dear all at Fireplace Megastore Just thought I would drop you all a little note to express my absolute appreciation of the service I received from your company following my recent order(No. 0013858). Having checked a vast number of outlets for the gas fire I found yours to be the cheapest (and in some instances by a few hundred pounds) which being a canny Scot pleased me no end! I also spoke to one of the staff and not only did he sort out my order but he also forwarded the fitting instructions prior to my purchasing the product advising me to show them to the gas fitter to ensure that, come the time of fitting, there would be no "unforseen and expensive " additional expenses. Great advice indeed!! I also must mention the delivery which nowadays is usually a minefield. I was advised at time of placing my order that delivery would be "in around 2 weeks and that the courier company would telephone me to arrange an exact time". The fire was ordered on Thursday 21 February 2008 at midday. Your courier then telephoned on Monday 25th February to say that the fire would be delivered on the afternoon of the following day being 26th February. After waiting in during that afternoon the courier did not show and I was beginning to have visions of the old adage "Well you only get what you pay for" however, believe it or not, at 1940 hours that evening the driver telephoned to say that he would be arriving at "20 past 8". I not unnaturally assumed that it was to be the following morning but to my total surprise and delight he said no, that it would be that very night!!!!! At 2020 hours on the button the doorbell rang and the fire was delivered, perfectly packaged and in pristine condition. There must be a God after all and I am so very, very grateful to all concerned for their efforts on this customers behalf. So much for the estimated delivery time of 2 weeks - mid Wales to mid Scotland in 5 days Terrific service all round! The said fire is now burning brightly in its rightful place and filling the house with a lovely warmth but nothing that can compare to the warmth I feel towards your company and staff for their exceptional service. "My apologies for not getting in touch before now, but this to advise that the fire delivered Monday 16th November, but not checked or unpacked on receipt, due to the lateness of the hour, and also on a filthy rainy night but it has been unpacked now, it's proved to be in an excellent condition and has now been successfully installed.
We knew what to expect as our daughter bought a similar fire from you some time ago and we have always admired it. My wife and I are very pleased with our new purchase. Thank you also to the delivery team, as I said, it was nasty night, the men had had a long day and whilst they did offer did to unpack the fire I didn't want to detain them any longer. They did a grand job, were helpful and pleasant. Excellent service!

Just wanted to let you know that I ordered the fire online last Weds evening and it arrived on Friday lunchtime. Customer Service was absolutely brilliant. I had been waiting five weeks for the fire from a company in Settle, West Yorkshire who were charging me a hundred pounds more for the same fire and in the end I had to cancel the order as they didn’t have any stock in.
